SETC Screening Auditionees
FOR SETC SCREENING AUDITIONEES ONLY

If you are a current Georgia student and/or have less than two professional credits on your resume, you MUST attend the SETC State Screening Audition. Professional actors --- with 2 or more professional credits --- must attend professional auditions at SETC which do not require state screening. (See SETC website for more information).

SETC will handle your state registration fees as well as your preliminary audition application. They will start accepting audition registrations beginning WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15, 2011 and will close registration at 11:59pm on THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2011. To register for the SETC State Screening Auditions for Georgia --- which INCLUDES your membership and convention fees for Georgia Theatre Conference ---follow the link below for "Georgia Specific" SETC information. The SETC website you will be redirected to will list the registration process. Under #2, there will be a link to the application and fee process that says "Apply Now" (until 9/15, it will say "Opens 9/15/2011"). That link will close permanently at 11:59pm on September 28. If you have not finished the application process by that time, your application will be cancelled and you will not be allowed to participate in the state screening process.

If you have successfully registered through SETC for the State Screening Auditions, do NOT also register for the GTC Convention through the GTC website. This will only result in you being charged twice! You will NOT be charged for your GTC membership, convention, and state fees UNTIL your SETC application process has been completed. If the application process is not completed by the deadline, SETC will "throw out" all of you information; you will not be registered for GTC and you will not be charged any fees.

If you do not plan on participating in the State Screening Auditions or have not successfully completed the SETC registration and application process on time, you CAN still register for the GTC through the GTC website or at the convention.

For information about auditions requirements, content, and the "do's and don'ts" of auditioning for SETC, go to the SETC General Info Link below to see the SETC Auditionee Handbook and tips from the auditioning companies.
